In 1949, Edward F. DiPasquale founded Mandi Foods, a food brokerage and distribution company.  He created  E.F. DiPasquale Company as a division of Mandi Foods to house the food brokerage business.  In 2005, E.F. DiPasquale Company and Allegheny Valley Foodservice merged to become EFD Associates.  Since 2008, EFD Associates has expanded our footprint in Ohio by acquiring Associated Food Brokers and Vision Food Brokerage. 

 

Today, the company is owned and operated by the DiPasquale family and successfully serves both the retail and food service industry in Western Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Ohio. EFD Associates is headquartered in Pittsburgh with a second office in Cleveland.

Through hard work, outstanding service, and investing back into the business, we have continued to grow and service our customers and manufacturers. We are large enough to develop relationships in an expanded market, yet small enough to deliver the attention to detail that sets us apart from our competitors.
